Paci Free!! (Knock on Wood!)
I agreed with Scott that it would be best for Branson if we got rid of that paci pretty soon. (That was about a month ago, but I just couldnt bring myself to do it to him...ha!) So...Scott and I agreed on taking it away when he turned 18 months. Tonight was his second night without it and we didnt have any tears at all! Wow! He asked for it last night and tonight, I told him that he was a big boy and that was it. NayNaw babysat today while I went to work and said that the nap this afternoon was a little bit harder and he cried for about 30 minutes off and on. So...basically, it has been pretty uneventful so far. We have been praying about this transition and I have been dreading it. So far, so good! Keep us in your thoughts!! :)

good job! you are wise to do it now. i think it gets much harder when they're older.

sounds like you are having better luck than us. we took avery's paci away a few months ago and it was a good 2 weeks before she was sleeping through the night. glad to hear it's going fairly smoothly.
I agree! Smart to do it now, especially since he seems to be doing well.
