4 month appt

We went to see Dr. Wiley to get Branson's 4 month shots. Yes, he is four and a half months old, but that was the earliest we could get in to see him. These shots were definately better for me than the last ones, maybe because I knew what to expect. Dr. Wiley said he looks great.

Height: 26 1/4 inches (95%)
Weight: 18 lb 3 oz (98%)

What a chunker! Dr. Wiley said that he isnt worried about his weight because height is also in the above average range. He said that we could start solid foods, cereal, fruits, and veggies. I guess I expected him to give us a lot of guidelines in this area, like what he should eat when and how much, etc. We didnt get any of that! He basically said to be laidback about it, try some stuff, have some fun! HA! His words were "he doesnt need it for the calories, it is basically for his development and your entertainment." I thought that was pretty funny. He did give a couple of instructions including no eggs, no chocolate, and no peanut products. Sounds pretty easy to me. Branson definately loves to eat, so it should go well.
