It took him awhile to figure out how to climb in and out correctly. This was his unconventional, yet effective way to enter his bed for awhile. :)
I do not want to jinx anything, but so far, he has slept 2 nights and 2 naps in his new bed and has not tried to get out once! I know that he knows how to get in and out because he does it all day while playing. So far, this minor transition has been a non-issue. I hope I am not speaking too soon. :) We hope to put him in a full size bed (with rails and mattress on the floor for awhile) when we move into the new house, so hopefully this is a good step towards that. Way to go, Branson! You are such a big boy and Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you! :)

Hopefully you'll have better luck with the toddler bed than we've been having!
sounds like he is doing good. we need to move avery to a big girl bed, but baby bed is just so nice for mommy to not have to worry about her getting up. keep us updated on how branson does.
yes!!! can't believe i have been out of the loop...not around a computer much anymore. so glad to see progress in both areas
