Rideout Christmas

Since I don't know how to back date my blog, I am just trying to get caught up as fast as I can. :) the dates will be off, but oh well!

Scott, Branson, and I packed up all of our stuff (well, it felt like all of our stuff) and headed across town to Mammie and Pappy's house on Dec. 19 to stay until Dec. 23. (I am sure that is about all they could handle of us!) We had a great time wiwth them and Craig, JoDee, and Adi. It was chaotic, busy, and fun.

Here is a picture of all our stockings. We were adding people to our family so fast that Mom just bought a curtain rod so we could just slide more on whenever we needed to! :) My Mom and grandmother make these beautiful stockings that look similar, but just a little bit different. (From left to right: Kent, ML, Kara, Scott, Branson, Craig, JoDee, Adilyn)

Branson opening his first present. He went around the whole day saying "open present, open present"

Adi prefered the bows and wrapping.

Trying to get a pic of Branson and his stocking, while making a goofy face.

Mom and Branson (I didnt realize she wanted a pic of the two of them with his stocking...oops!)

New booster seat...CHEESE!

Adi got bored with unwrapping, so Momma took over.

Every one of Branson presents had to be completely unwrapped, opened, and taken out of the packaging so that he could play with it right then. Scott did the job beautifully. Here is Branson's new animal train. Fun fun!

Bow-head?

All of us looking at the book Branson got that has animals that really move. It reminded me of Harry Potter where the pictures move. It is really cool.

Scott and Craig got remote control cars that can go on the walls and ceiling. They had fun and Branson kept bugging them about their "aught wods" (hot rods)

Branson opening his last and favorite present...

The MowMow
(what he calls lawn mowers and really any green ride-on thing. If it is yellow, it is a tractor)

We learned our lesson about opening presents at night. We had a huge fit about going to bed because he wanted to continue riding his MowMow.

Thanks to Pappy for already doing the 18 hours of charge that the battery needed before use. Branson could hardly wait for 10 seconds it took them to get the wheels on, much less 18 hours!

I notice that I didn't put too many pics of the rest of us up here. I gravitate toward the ones of Branson and Adi. Oh well...they are the cutest! :) Thanks everyone for a great Christmas. We had so much fun.
