Fall Festivities

A quick bite to eat before we head off for the Trunk or Treat at Mom and Dad's church...

Putting it on wasnt so bad...

The hat...that was definately another story. This was the only shot we got of the entire costume on. No sense in forcing him to wear a hat that be obviously didn't like. Oops! I think I'll be taking him costume shopping with me next year!

There was a long line of people waiting to reach the trunks...and my little one doesn't really wait very well. Hmmm...

So we waited for a little bit...

before we were off to do more exciting things like balance on this concrete thingy,

look at all the puppies,

and check out our very small loot. Remember, you had to wait in line for the candy.

Soon, the costume came off and we were checking out our candy again. For an eighteen month old who only has 6 teeth, we didn't have too many options.

Maybe I can eat this stick...

"Oh...this end tastes much better!" He was in suger heaven!

And he was very willing to share! What a sweet boy!

"Any more suckers?"

Cousin Adi came into town the next day and dressed as a flower pot for Halloween. Isn't she adorable?!

It wasn't the ideal Trunk or Treat experience, but next year, he will be older and definately more interested in candy, so it will probably be better. He had fun even if he didn't follow all the rules about staying in line and didn't get much candy. Fun is what counts, right?
