Books and Movies

Books:
I love love LOVE to read. Usually, it is something completely mindless that will let me "get away" for awhile. Not this time! I just finished reading "The Shack" and would recommend it to anyone! It is a story about God, who He is, and His love for us. It is written in easy to read, real terms, but definately takes some thought to read it. I loved it and love God for giving me this book at just the right time in our lives.

Movies:
I don't watch a ton of movies. I prefer to read while Scott watches the movie. :) However, I just heard of a movie coming out this weekend called Fireproof that we all need to go see. It is produced by the same people who made "Facing the Giants" (which you should go rent if you havent seen it!) and looks really really good. It is about a fireman whos marriage is crumbling even as he is becoming a hero in his community. He is challanged to take the "love dare" for 40 days by his father. I can't wait to see it and probably to buy the book....hehe! :)

I just wanted to add a lighter post to my growing list of pictureless posts. I'm working on one now with new pics of Branson. Yippee!
