Swinging at the Park
Scott's parents are in town for the weekend and we went to the park for a lunch/play thing that Beltway was putting on. We did some swinging, ate some burgers, and came home for nap time. It was fun.
Here is the goofy, buck-tooth grin that we get sometimes when we tell him to "say cheese." So cute!
about diapers...i'm no expert but here's what i'm doing: i'm using about 6-8 per day on truett. i'm planning on washing every other day but so far i've washed every day. i don't mind washing them and it's not difficult.
we put disposables on both boys tonight for bed simply b/c we already have them. i figure that every little bit helps and it will add up - i.e. if i save us from using 4 disposable diapers per kid per day, we're saving roughly $2/day which is $60/month! it really adds up. so they'll pay for themselves relatively quickly. every little bit helps.
i really like the bumgenius 3.0s b/c they're so easy and versatile as the kid grows. but, then again, i haven't tried anything else! maybe i'm too easily satisfied.
the changing diapers, changing minds program at jillian's drawers seems really reasonable. you could try cloth diapering and if you hate it it hasn't cost you much to find that out.
We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family to share life with. This blog is my attempt to record some of the fun things, important moments, and sweet memories to be cherished for a long time. I hope you enjoy the journey!
