Success!

As many of you know, Branson has never been a great sleeper. Therefore, I dont have many picture of him asleep because whenever we finally got him to sleep, I didnt want to risk waking him up with the camera or flash. Well, I finally got one...
This was taken two weeks ago when I was still rocking him (for up to an hour!) to get him to sleep each time (two naps and bedtime), getting him to go to sleep on a pillow, and carefully easing him into bed so he wouldnt realize that I put him down.

After that week, Scott had enough and strongly urged me to try letting him cry/fall asleep on his own after about 5 minutes of rocking. He had been saying this for some time and I had every excuse in the book as to why it wouldnt work. Well, I was wrong! This past week, I started putting Branson in his crib after 5 minutes of rocking, he would cry for a minute or less, lay down, and go to sleep! Wow! I have had more free time (cuz Im not rocking/holding him during naps) and been so much happier. A lesson to me to listen to Scott more often. Well...maybe that's going too far. :-)

This week has been a little harder due to some slight fever (possible teething...) and schedules being messed up due to church, etc., but he still eventually goes to sleep and sleeps very well. I am pumped! Thanks for the encouragement, babe!
