Priceless

Branson is getting to the age that I will let him go into his room and play by himself for a minute. It is usually only a minute before he comes back out or I go check on him. He went into his room and things got quiet. Not usually a good sign, right? So, I went to peek in his room and this is what I saw. I couldnt get a great shot because I had to be sneaky. Don't worry, I didn't get caught.

He has been so interested in reading lately, bringing me book after book to read to him. He likes to read the same books over (and over and over and over!) and he is able to point to all the familiar things when I ask him. It is so amazing to see him learning new things every day. For example, he kept pointing to the flowers in one book that he has, so I kept saying "flower" every time he did it. Later that day we went to my parents house and they had flowers that looked like the ones in the book. I said, "Branson, where are the flowers?" and he went right to them and pointed. Amazing!
