You had a blast with the easter eggs and I am considering keeping them around for a few days to keep you entertained.
You continue to be a good eater. You will eat ANYTHING we put in front of you, which I am learning from friends who have picky eaters that this is truly a blessing. Thank you for eating so well.

You have strong opinions about everything (not anything new) but you are learning how to make your wants and needs known to us more and more everyday. It is so neat to watch you point to something and try to talk. Right now you are yelling a lot, but we are constantly giving you the words you need to communicate and I know that those are going to come out of your little mouth any day. I was telling someone that I was ready for you to talk and they said "Man, give him a break he learned to walk and grew two teeth in one week and now you want him to start talking!" HA! I guess I am kinda expecting a lot, huh?
Oh yeah....you have TWO teeth!! I have tried for days to get a picture of the two white specks poking themselves through your bottom gums, but every time I get close you shut your mouth. Hmmm...someday we will get a picture.
I love this picture of us because it is just an honest picture of how much fun we have together.

NeyNaw got you a big yellow duck for Easter and you were sweetly giving it a hug. You were pretty tired because you rarely just lay down and you definately dont stay there long!

I have been meaning to record what our typical day looks like now that we have a "typical day." You were so unpredictable at first and I wasnt very good at putting you on a schedule. We have kinda fallen into a schedule that works for us and I really enjoy being able to plan the day around it. (Note to readers: Sorry if this part is boring but I want it recorded since I havent written anything in the baby book!) You usually wake up around 7 which I love. No more 5:30 wake up calls! Then we spend the next couple of hours getting a bottle, taking a bath, playing, doing some housework, and eating breakfast. At around 9:30, you go down for your morning nap. You are only takng two bottles a day now and I thought this transition to going to sleep without a bottle was going to be really hard. You actually do really well and it takes 10-15 minutes of rocking and you are out. You sleep (in your crib on a good day) for about an hour and a half. Then we play, eat lunch, run errands, go see Daddy at work, etc. Your afternoon nap is from about 2:30 to 4, then you are awake until bedtime. We play a lot, eat dinner, usually have something going on in the evenings (dinners, etc.), and you go to bed around 8:30. I am so excited that it is getting warmer and we will be able to play outside more. Speaking of playing outside, it brings me to a dilema. You need to wear shoes to play outside, but shoes just dont fit your feet very well. Your feet are about as tall as they are long, so shoes just dont stay on. I am sure we will figure something out. :)
Ok, enough of my rambling, I just want to remember every detail of these fun times. I already wish I had written more when you were little and I dont want to miss anything else!
We love you so much, Branson boy. I look forward to many more days and months to come.

Next month.....ONE YEAR OLD!

Branson is growing up to be such a cute kiddo! I can't believe he's already walking and about to be one year old - what a fast year it's been. I'm so happy for you and your sweet family.
