You started drinking from a sippy cup all by yourself recently and you are very good at it. We mix 1/2 or 1/3 juice and 1/2 water in a cup and you love it.

This is your new ball from Mammy. It is fun because you can hold onto it good and it still bounces. You love balls and we have been working on saying ball. Sometimes it sounds like "ba" and other times "da" and other times...well, who knows? The speech therapist in me has a hard time giving you credit for words because it is hard to know if you really know what you are saying and if you are consistently using it to talk about the same object/person. Speaking of words, you know "mama" and "dada" but you use them to talk about me and your dad as well as using them for random babbling when you feel like talking. So so cute though!

You have defintely started understanding a lot more of what we are saying and you have started pointing at things to indicate either that you want them or you want to know what it is. It feels like I can just see you learning things right before my eyes.

You arent walking yet, but you are sooooo close! You can take two or three steps between object or people. You smile so big and are so proud of yourself for your accomplishment. Here is the process...
Oh...I want that lens cap so bad!

I think I can, I think I can.

Yummy!

You have been sick quite a bit this month. We are giving you your second round of antibiotics for ear infections and you have started with a nasty cough the past day or so. We are working on it though and are praying for your health everyday. You are so much happier when you are feeling good. (Arent we all?!)
Dispite feeling crummy, you have still been sleeping good. Since daylight savings time began, you are sleeping from 8:30 pm to 7:30 am and we are loving it!
Your current favorite things include eating, playing pattycake, eating, your paci, dancing, listening to music, Rufus, eating, and going places with Mommy. You love riding in the cart at the store and just watching everyone and everything go by. We have such a good time together.
Oh...you started doing the cutest thing recently. I will tell you "give Momma a kiss" and point to my cheek and you will lean over with your mouth wide open to give me a "kiss" on the cheek. So cute! They are the best slobbery boogery kisses I have ever received. :-)
