Gorgeous Day at the Abilene Zoo

It was so beautiful today and Branson and I got invited to go with some friends to the zoo. (Sidenote: Scott and I have started attending a new church and have gotten involved in a LifeGroup which has been such a blessing to us.) So, five Mom's from our LifeGroup and 8 kids ranging from 6 weeks to 4 years set out to enjoy the beautiful day by observing some of God's creatures at the zoo. I should have gotten a picture of our train of strollers, it was too funny! Here is Branson in his cute hat, ready for a day at the zoo.



I just love the bridge over the giraffes where you can help feed them. Branson didnt get to do much feeding since we had some 2-3 year olds with us that were making sure the animals didnt go hungry!



He was looking at the lions when this picture was taken, but Im not sure if that is what he was so excited about or not. I seem to recall him in the middle of a yawn, but it sure looks like he is saying "Look, Mommy, Look!" :-)


Branson's favorite was the ducks and the HUGE catfish. He would laugh when they quacked and fought over the food we were throwing out to them.
