Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Happy Birthday Scott! I am a little late with the post since his birthday was a week ago, but here it is. Scott's family met in Abilene for the weekend and we had a really good time. The guys played golf, they took Branson to a movie, and we ate a lot! It was so fun to have everyone here and I know that Scott appreciated it. Thanks for coming guys!


Brent brought his new "drum" to show us. (Well, actually he is pretty embarrassed about it because it isnt finished yet. I'll post finished, painted, etc. pictures after Thanksgiving.) It is a propane tank that he has cut tongues in the top and tuned them to different notes. It makes sounds when you hit them with your fingers or thumbs. It is really neat and Branson LOVES it. He has always enjoyed music and it is so funny to watch him sit and stare at someone play that thing for as long as they want to. He tried to play it himself, but prefers to listen. :-)
