San Antonio Zoo

We're back! We had a great trip and I took lots more pictures than I usually take, just so I could post them here and tell everyone about it! :-) I'm going to post about the trip in sections though because I can only post so many pictures at one time. We went got to Brent's about 11:00 on Thursday night. Branson did great on the trip. He slept alot and was already in his pjs and asleep when we got there. Worked very well. The next morning we got up and went to breakfast, followed by the San Antonio Zoo. Before we even walked in, I realized that I didnt bring a hat for Branson and although he was wearing sunscreen, he might get cooked. So, then I make the decsion to look in the zoo gift shop and pay what I felt sure would be three times too much for a hat to block the sun. Well, we found a cute one and it was only 6 dollars!! Its a little too big, but 6 dollars!! I was pumped.

So tired after a day at the zoo.

I didnt really get many good animal pictures. Most of the animals were very far away and my camera doesnt really have a great zoom, so this is pretty much the best we could. We had a good time at the zoo, but I wouldnt suggest going on a day that all the school kids in San Antonio were there. I guess there isnt a way to know that, but man there were a bunch of kids there. The zoo is doing quite a bit of construction too and it will be neat when they get it all done.
