Happy Half Birthday!

Branson just went for his six month check up. The doctor asked a bunch of questions and after hearing the responses, he replied, "Yall are making my job easy." :-) I guess we need to think harder about questions to ask him next time! The truth is, Branson is doing great. He is a good eater, good sleeper most of the time, and has hit all his developmental milestones in the appropriate window of time. So far, so good. Branson got some more shots, but he didnt cry for very long. It is still hard to watch, but I have to keep telling myself that it is for his good. It reminds me every time about how God asks us to do things that seem hard or painful in the moment, but He is doing them for our own good and protection. Branson's stats were surprising this time...

Height: 27 1/2 (90th %)
Weight: 18 lbs. 13 oz. (75th %)

He has gained over an inch in the last two months and only 10 oz! No wonder he is looking thinner to us. It is hard to believe that he has been around for half of a year, but it is true. It is also amazing how he has become such a part of who we are in six short months. I am looking forward to many more months with this precious boy! Happy Half Birthday, Branson!
