5 1/2 month update!

Branson is five and a half month today and he has changed soooo much. It is just amazing how fast they change when they are so little.

Eating: He is eating solid foods twice a day. He eats baby cereal, bananas, sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, and sometimes avacado (when mixed with something else). His favorite is definately carrots and least favorite is avacado. He gagged the first time we gave it to him, but he is getting better. He still drinks about 4-5 bottles a day and will cry if you make one and then dont give it to him right away. He definately knows what it is and that it is his!

Sleeping: He is sleeping so much better! Crying it out actually wasnt too bad and now he sleeps most of the night. He goes to bed between 8 and 8:30 and wakes up about 6 or 6:30. He usually cries a couple of times in the night for less than 2 minutes and then goes back to sleep. Lately it has been because he is on his tummy and one of us will go flip him over and he is fine. He takes 3-4 short naps during the day normally. Some days it catches up to him and he will sleep for longer.

He is laughing and playing so much more. He enjoys being the center of attention and having everyone talk to him. He will "talk" right back to you. His new thing includes blowing raspberries and he enjoys when you blow them back at him. We took him to Brownfield this weekend and he got to go to his first parade. He did great and right when it was over, put his head down and went to sleep. It was so perfect. He loves it outside and really likes watching Rufus.

I am sorry to make everyone wait so long for an update. I am working on getting internet for the house and then (hopefully) will update more. Thanks for being patient with me!
