I'm back!

I know it has been forever and ALOT has happened! Let's start with the house. We are officially moved in and the trailer is for sale...yeah!! The house isnt totally finished, so Scott is busy with little projects from the time he gets home until the time he goes to bed. Well, it seems that way anyway. He enjoys staying busy and seeing the house come together. It is sooo nice to be in the house and only a very short distance from where Scott is working. He walks to work on most days and comes home for lunch with me and Branson. It has been great.

Speaking of work, I volunteered to help out with speech evaluations at Tri-County (where JoDee worked last year) no more than 2 days a week. The director called back and wants me to take a caseload of 6 kids in Albany and then do some testing. I told him as long as it is no more than two days a week, that would be fine. We were kinda worried about finding childcare for Branson, but the Mother's Day Out program at Highland church called this morning and they have a spot for him. (He was first on the waiting list.) I am so excited! I know a couple of the teachers that work there and I love them, so I know he will be in good hands.

Branson is getting SO big! He is almost four months old and seems to change every day. Some of his current favorite things include sucking on his fingers (yum, yum!), drooling (I think he is teething), and looking at himself in the mirror. He starts smiling every time! He has started laughing some this past week and it is the best sound ever! I dont think he has totally figured out the laughing thing because it gives him the hiccups almost every time. I guess it has to do with how he is breathing. It is pretty funny! Oh!! I almost forgot and this is the most important....he is sleeping in his bed now!! Yippee! We have to put him to sleep by rocking him, put him on a pillow, put him in the crib, and put a small ankle weight across his chest and arms to keep them from jerking and he sleeps!! (The ankle weight was Scott's idea because Branson would jerk and wake himself up, but when we had our hand on him, he would stay alseep...pretty genius if you ask me). Well, that is about all the news for us. I am sure that Im leaving something out, but I'll post again. Hopefully I will get some pictures up soon. You wont believe how big he is!!
