Branson was 2 months old on June 24th! We went to our well baby visit and had to get the two month shots. Scott took off early to go with us and I am so glad. He was a big help. Before we talk about the awful experience of having some stick a two inch needle into your babies leg three times, here are his stats..
Length: 24 inches (90th percentile)
Weight: 12 lbs. 10 oz. (75th percentile)
Sounds pretty good to me. Now, here are the pictures of his pretty blue band-aids after the terrible shots. The nurse stuck all three shots in him and left the room before he let out the huge cry that had been building since the first stick. Scott was holding him and trying to get him to stop crying and he looked over at me and I was crying too! He said, "Well, I cant hold both of you at once!" :-) Branson was fine and the crying probably lasted for about a minute, but it felt like forever. We really didnt have much reaction to the shots either, just a little bit of temperature that night and the next morning, but nothing major. All in all, it was a good visit.

awww you poor things! at least he got some really cool crayon bandaids!!
PS: that's why we have the nurses do it so they can hate them in the future and not the dr/ PA! who wants to treat them :)
