False Alarm or Early Labor?
It is really anyone's guess! This is just killing me. Well, here is the most recent story (if you are squimish about pregnancy details, skip this post..hehe!). I woke up this morning at 4:00 feeling really crampy and was bleeding a little. That doesnt really make you feel too good when you are pregnant even though it is kinda commen at the end. Anyway, Scott decided to stay home from work and we went ahead and went to the dr. this morning at 9 instead of waiting until this afternoon for our regular appointment. He checked me, I was at 3 cm and he told me to go ahead and go to L&D, get hooked up and they would watch me for awhile, check the baby, etc. They didnt really seemed too concerned with the bleeding that they kept calling "spotting" even though I corrected everyone that I felt like it was more than spotting. So...we get to L&D and there are so many people there having babies that we were stuck in the OR Recovery Room (thankfully, no one was there yet!) No phone, no TV, nothing. Mom and Scott were great, we played cards, etc while waiting for the nurse to come back. I was having fairly strong contractions, but they were only 10-15 minutes apart. Not close enough to warrent a stay in the very busy inn. Time to go home yet again. The good news is that if we dont have a baby by Wednesday morning, we will be induced at 5:30 am. (Ive continued having contractions all day, some of which are taking my breath away, so maybe it will be sooner.) Stay tuned...baby by Wednesday at the latest!!! We are so excited to meet this little guy!
